We are looking to hire an enthusiastic, energetic, and ambitious Business Development Manager to join our Sales team and build a strong portfolio of clients. Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients, and forging strong relationships with clients. You should be an active listener, have a convincing sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads.
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets
- Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
- Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met
- diploma/degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Time management and planning skills
